We started hiking at 11.30 am. from the start of trail to Della. Arrived at the camping area at the base of the falls at 5.30 pm.

There are still many trees across the trail ,but it was easily passable. There is no snow on the trail. Crossing the creek were the bridge is out is relatively easy. The water is roughly 3 ft. at the deepest . The Falls had lots of water coming down.

The hike back took about 5 hours . To cross the creek one should have a rope to be safe. About 30m would be lots.

For the first 3 km the mosquitoes are bad. Some brush and trees are across the trail, also some very wet spots up to Margaret Creek. The trail is good and clear between Margaret Creek and the closed bridge, before Good Camp.  About 400 m up the river is an option to cross. The water is waist high (about one meter) at fording spot. A rope at least 10 m is needed to cross.
Some snow before Steel Bridges but passable. More snow 1 km after the bridges. After this, the trail and the camp at the base of Della Falls were dry and clear.
The Falls were beautiful!  At the time, it’s a real adventure and only for experienced hikers.

Just patchy snow close to Della Falls. The Falls are doing VERY well, lots of water coming over the Falls. The river will be very high; so getting across, 400 m above the bridge that is out, since last year, will be tough. Everybody should have the right equipment for this hike. It is a class #2 trail. The next month will have the best flow over Della + Beauty Falls. There will be more to see when the Love Lake Trail opens up.
